Motherload Post

Editor's (Mommy's) Note: When I originally had the idea for this blog, my plan was to upload one picture a day of Mason so that our family and friends could see pictures of him on their own time, but they wouldn't be inundated with e-mails of hundreds of crappy pictures that they had to sift through to find the good ones. Well, over 14 months have gone by and guess what? I don't take pictures of Mason every day anymore! In fact, I rarely take pictures of him. I guess because our life has become somewhat monotonous? I mean, we wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, come home, eat dinner, take a bath, and go to bed. And believe me, he is cute during all of this, but do you really want pictures of him doing the same things over and over? I don't think so. So please forgive me for the long stretches between posts. We are out living and enjoying life!

For Rosh Hashanah, I went to temple with Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Rachel for a little while. Then we went over to the Feuermans house to eat lunch. Uncle Parker and Amy and Uncle Lander were all there with us, so we got these fun pictures. I especially like the one where Uncle Lander is about to eat my face!

When I go over to Grandma and Pops' house I love to read books. They make so much more sense when you read them upside down, don't you think?

This is my zebra toy at Grandma and Pops' house. At first I was afraid of it, but then Marin sat on it and made it lower for me so now I love it. Thanks Marin!

I love my Flounder cell phone. Unless there is a real cell phone in my line of sight. Then I go for that one.

While Marin and Riley were in town we went to the park. This is a picture of Marin freaking out from the love bugs. I agree - they are pretty gross!

While we were at the park Mommy climbed this thing and I thought it was hilarious. I couldn't stop cracking up! Which of course made Mommy crack up too.

While they were visiting I went to the beach with my cousins, Aunt Fara, Uncle Hunter, Grandma, and Pops. (Mommy and Daddy had to work.) I loved playing in the sand with Riley (and eating the sand!) Can you believe that Riley is only four months younger than me? She makes me look like a teenager.

On Saturday night, I slept over at Grandma and Pops while Mommy and Daddy went out. We had a fun sleepover with all of us there. I slept in the living room in my pack n' play because Riley was using my crib. Before he left Daddy bathed me with my cousins. Uncle Hunter helped too!

Then we all got in our pajamas, but we wouldn't cooperate to take a picture with all of us looking at the camera. It was so much easier in February when me and Riley couldn't really move around!

This is my (now annual) picture of me and Grammy on the bus bench at the Beach Club Resort at Disney. Here is what we looked like a year ago. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3050/3450/1600/mason%20010.0.jpg

And I rode the carousel with Daddy. Here is what I looked like a year ago. http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3050/3450/1600/mason%20020.6.jpg

On Saturday morning I went swimming with Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, and Papa. Here I am sitting on a rock. I am probably also eating sand.

On Saturday night we went out for a nice dinner to celebrate Grammy and Papa's 30th Anniversary. We got them a picture of Mickey and Minnie. Grandma and Pops came to help us celebrate. Our drinks came with fluorescent blue ice cubes. I had fun trying to stuff it in Grammy's face.

I love mirrors. They always help me reconfirm how cute I actually am!

Sunday morning I got to meet Mickey at a character breakfast. I tried to kiss her nose!

So much has been happening with us but Mommy and Daddy have no way to document these things. Like I walk now! For real! Everywhere I go! I am slow! Very slow! But at least I am walking! And I say lots of words now. I say Caca - which means give me food (cookie, cracker, banana, anything really). I say Gaga which means blanky. I say Guck for Duck. I know a duck says quack quack. I say circle. I say Dada. I have said Chyna once. And I am sure there are others that Mommy forgets. When people sneeze or laugh I imitate and make fun of them. I point to things I want. And I sometimes get upset when I don't get what I want. Most importantly - I am still a very happy little person!
